In this capacity, Mr. Driscoll is responsible for managing SILPRO's manufacturing and order fulfillment operations. He will play a key supporting role in the introduction of new products and the continued expansion of the company into new geographical markets.
John Driscoll is in his sixth year as a member of the SILPRO family, most recently holding the position of Operations Manager. In this position he was directly responsible for production planning, manufacturing and delivery operations which supported double-digit dry and liquid production growth necessitated by SILPRO's rapidly expanding business in the Eastern United States. Mr. Driscoll spearheaded the ramp-up of manufacturing operations to support the July 2010 launch of SILFLO™220, a high flow calcium aluminate self-leveling underlayment and will drive the upcoming roll-out of SILPRO's new convenient 10 pound package for the company's premium skim coat, SKIM PRO™.
John came to SILPRO with over twenty years of operations management experience. He served from 1997 through 2004 as the Plant Manager at TACC, a $60M adhesives and sealants division of $10B Illinois Tool Works (ITW). Prior to this experience, John held a variety of operations and procurement management positions with several prominent New England based manufacturing companies.
Mr. Driscoll graduated from the University of Rhode Island and earned his MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
